365 Challenge- January 15

I knew the hardest part of this challenge would be keeping up with the blog part. I've taken plenty of pics. One day when I have nothing else to do, maybe I'll fill in the gaps, but here's two of my favorites from today's shoot of my adorable 18 month old.

365 Challenge- Day 6

January 6th
I love these boys! Gonna wash the car for Mommy. I skipped a couple days, but I'm ok with it. I think if I push myself to snap away when I don't really feel inspired, then it's not fun. So I'm going to focus on improving my skills and snapping when I'm inspired. :)

365 Challenge- Day 3

January 3rd

As I said yesterday, I'm being a bit of an overachiever with the one picture a day. But today we had a blast at Fossil Rim drive through zoo. We were given no map of the zoo, so we really were just hoping that we would see some exotic animals because that's what the billboards show. After seeing deer after deer after ostrich after ram after deer (which were all very exciting at first,) Gary cracked me up (and the big boys) and asked one of the deer where the cooler animals were.

Quickly after, we came to the giraffes. So amazing!! They came right up to us and practically kissed J when he was looking at the giraffe that L was feeding out of his hand. I pet one on the face. It was quite an experience. These were taken without a zoom lens.

This is what the under side of a giraffe looks like. I wished we had a sunroof like a family a couple cars behind us. That would have been even better.
They also had a petting zoo, which M loved. He said "hi" to every goat and went up to one and pushed it's two toes together. Then he accidentally stepped on one and got rammed (gently.) I don't think he really knew what happened. Daddy was right there to save him. The boys had a blast (and so did we!)

365 Photo Challenge- Day 2

January 2

I know the challenge is only one photo a day, but I have a little extra time right now with my husband being off from work and I got great shots of my two youngest and thought I couldn't leave out my oldest, so how about 4? The two with the buckets/stilts were actually from yesterday too. I'm a rule-breaker, what can I say? :)

This is my middle one, J, and about 90% off the time he puts everything on backwards- pants, shirts (notice the number on his shoulder), shoes, and undies. This tractor is technically big brother's but he's learning to drive it.
This is my littlest, M,- climbing up the ladder and going down the slide all by himself.

And, part of the big boy's Christmas presents were these buckets and rope. They were dying to see what we were going to make with them. L loved them, J not as much. L said "I wish I could run with them." So Daddy did. Unfortunately I was laughing too hard to take an actual picture of the fall that came immediately after this shot (of course, I made sure he was ok before I laughed.)

365 Photo Challenge

Happy New Year!
Well, I have accepted quite the challenge from one of my friends. I am supposed to take a picture every day for the whole year. I'm going to try my best. I don't know that I'll get them all posted on the actual day I took them, but I'll try to get one every day. I started the year with this little gem of all my boys. This was actually not posed. They were all so cute eating cereal together, all I did was tell them to look at me. They love their daddy. I'd love to read your comments.
